I loved spending time with Mariela and Phil at Rattlesnake Lake. I have been looking forward to exploring the area ever since my husband and I moved to Washington State and oh man it did not disappoint. There are giant tree trunks hanging out in the water, beautiful mountains in the distance, and it just feels like you’re in another world. I don’t think I could ever get tired of shooting there.
If you’re considering a photo session at Rattlesnake Lake I’d recommend doing it on a week day or at sunset because it can get a little crowded because everyone loves it so much.
I always ask couples to use one word to describe themselves and both Mariela and Phil went with adventurous which I think fits them perfectly. They were both so up for anything and I loved every second of our session together. They’re both so kind and they share this sweet affection towards each other that I really loved photographing.
